Valensole and its surrounding region

At the heart of the plateau bearing its name, the charming village of Valensole is a reference of tourism in Provence.
With 300 days of sunshine a year, the town’s territory is one of the largest in France and will always surprise you in any season.

The snowy peaks of the Alps give way, in July, to the mauve lavender fields, weaving alternately with golden wheat. We never tire of the soft almond blossoms in March, the first blossoms of the year, reaching into the purity of the blue early spring sky.
